| The best way to determine if the group is for you is to attend one of our orientation meetings before committing yourself, where you can ask questions, meet other new members, and sign up for membership if you are ready. Orientation meetings held monthly in a central location. Children are welcome to attend.

Membership is open to any person who has become a single parent as a result of the end of a relationship, death of a partner, as well as to those who are single parents by choice.
Parents can have dependent or adult children and can be custodial or non-custodial parents.

Membership is $55 for one year, and is renewed on the anniversary of your membership. Our events are reasonably priced with member & group discounts and we subsidize most children's activities. Over a short time the membership pays for itself in savings – but the real benefit is your new social life with PWP and the many new friends you will make over time.
Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter that informs them of upcoming events. Members with email are also updated weekly with respect to any changes or advance notice of future outings.
PLEASE NOTE: As a membership requirement, you must provide the name, and address of a professional who has knowledge of your single parent status. This could be, but is not limited to, Doctor, Lawyer, Clergy, Counselor, Employment supervisor, Daycare director etc. To ensure that your application is processed as quickly as possible, please bring their contact information with you to the Orientation meeting. If you are not sure who to use as a reference please ask for more information at the Orientation session or call us at 416-489-2221.
